Hostal Meyra - Madrid

Had a great stay near Gran Via! The location's unbeatable. Room was comfortable, though shower curtains were a bit annoying. Plus, lugging bags to the pedestrian area wasn't ideal, but overall, I'd recommend it!

Comfortable stay for a perfect weekend. Location - magnificent, close enough to many stores and cafes and shopping stores and Gran Via-fantastic shopping.

Finding the lobby was quite frustrating. It was located on the first floor but the entrance was confusing and involved being buzzed in. Despite multiple attempts to contact the staff when we lost our phone, language barriers hindered communication. The room felt too basic and lacked any charm or amenities.

I booked a room with a comfy bed, climate control, multi-channel TV and an iron. Btw, it was overlooking courtyard. The staff were very very helpful and an absolute pleasure...

It was a welcome base for a couple of nights, had just perfect time. They gave a superior double room with kettle and balconies as we booked. The food in the restaurant was freshly made and the restaurant was wonderful.

We had an excellent stay thanks to hotel's really friendly staff. Its location was very central, 800 feet from a famed street. Moreover, it's short walk to Gran Via, walking distance to main tourist sights and the establishment;)))

Absoluteley charming location like a hidden gem, but too bad your sleep will be disturbed by laughable sound proofing, you'll even hear every little cough! On top of that, how am I supposed to enjoy a shower with those ridiculous curtains invading my space? A complimentary upgrade couod ve been nice, but clearly that's not part of their agenda.

Life's too short for boring meals! I discovered Yakitoro around 0.5 km away. Their grilled skewers are pure fire! Plus, just steps away at La Tita Rivera (only 0.3 km), the tapas are bursting with flavor-perfect for fueling up after a day of exploring. Our room was super clean, and we loved the cozy Juliet balcony that added a charming touch!

Finding the lobby reminded me of an urban treasure hunt. After ringing a doorbell that wasn't the right one, I had to run up a few flights to finally locate it on the first floor. Got a bit flustered when my phone went missing, especially with some language barriers on the hotel's end while trying to sort it out.

The staff were friendly and communication was seamless-definitely a plus. Cleanliness stood out, as the room was super clean, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. Limited storage options made it tricky to keep belongings organized, and while the air conditioning worked well, it would have been nice to have a safe for valuables. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, though getting to the lobby involved navigating several doors, which could be confusing.

The convenient location allowed easy access to vibrant streets. Despite the compact space, we appreciated the cleanliness and the friendly staff who provided helpful tips on local attractions. Future guests should be ready for a short walk from the drop-off point. It's worth it for the adventure.

Wi-Fi was solid, and the tv was a nice touch. No pets allowed.
